Su-Yun Hong
, of South Korea won by a fourth round TKO over Fahpratan Looksaikongdin ranked #59 with boxrec for the vacant  WIBA junior flyweight title.  Fahpratan had four losses in a row before fighting for this world title, and her wins come by defeating "pro debuters. WBAN has no documentation as to the valitity of her previous record. 

April 29, 2012 - Unidad Deportiva, Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico
Yesenia Martinez Castrejon won by a seventh round TKO over Paola Jimenez.

April 28, 2012 - Netherlands
In a four round bout between two debut boxers (weight class not given) Talitha Groot prevailed by points decision over Rachida Hilali.

April 28, 2012 - Frydenhøjhallen, Hvidovre, Denmark
Super flyweight Fadia Idrissi, 113¼, won a four-round unanimous decision over Karina Karpinska,116½,  who was making her pro debut.  Final judges scores were 40-36, 39-37, and 40-36.

April 28, 2012 - Coliseo El Limon, Maracay, Venezuela
Featherweight Ogleidis Suarez, of Caracas, Venezuela,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Pamela Elizabeth Benavidez, of Chaco, Argentina. The two were fighting for an WBA "interim" title...In another female bout, Alys Sanchez won by a seventh round TD over Diane Garcia.  According to Boxrec the fight was scheduled for nine rounds (scratch our head on that one...)

April 28, 2012 - Fairplex, Pomona, California
Holly Lawson
, 145, of Southern California,  won a four-rounder by unanimous decision over Tammy Franks, 140¼, of San Antonio, Texas.  Final judges scores were 39-37, 39-37, and 40-36.

April 28, 2012 - Spiroudome Arena, Charleroi, Hainaut, Belgium
Sanae Jah
, 111¾, of Belgium, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Oksana Romanova, 111¼, of the Ukraine, for the vacant WBC International Flyweight title. final judges scores were 98-92, 97-90, 98-94.  In another non-title bout Djemilla Gontaruk,122¾,  pro debut won a four-round unanimous decision over Nicky Mutsaert, 122¾.

April 28, 2012 - Santa Ana Star Casino, Albuquerque, New Mexico
On a card that featured two female bouts, Brandi Montoya, 117,  won a six-round unanimous decision over Natalie Roy, 117. In a second bout, Heather Clark, 124,  won a four-round split decision over Chavira Jack, 125.

April 28, 2012 - Foro Polanco, Polanco, Mexico
Featherweight Irma Garcia,  won an eight-round unanimous decision over Nazly Maldonado. Final Judges scores were 79-76, 79-74, and 78-75.

April 27, 2012 - Georgetown Guyana
In an upset, last minute substitute and debut boxer Ana Lazano won a six round unanimous decision over home town favorite Mandessa Moses 7(1)-2.

April 27, 2012 - Cloetta Center, Linkoping, Sweden
Frida Wallberg
, 130, of Sweden, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Amanda Serrano, 129, for the WBC Super Featherweight world title. Final judges scores were 96-94, 97-93, and 98-92. In another female bout, Mikaela Lauren, 149½, of Sweden, won a six-round unanimous decision over Cindy Serrano,147½ . Cindy and Amanda Serrano are out of New York, USA. ...Full Story

Local boxer Delfine Persoon, 135½, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Spain's Loli Munoz, 134¾.  final judges scores were 80-72, on all cards.

April 25, 2012 - Hyatt Regency Hotel, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Bantamweight Peggy Maerz, now 2-2-1, of Canada, won a six-round majority decision over Michelle Nelson, also of Canada.

April 25, 2012 - Bungnamthao, Petchaboon, Thailand
Strawweight Teeraporn Pannimit, 105, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Gretchen Abaniel, 105.  The two were fighting for the WBO strawweight title.

April 24, 2012 -Sportova hala MSO, Samut Sakhon, Thailand
Strawweight Samson Tor Buamas, (aka: Siriporn Thaveesuek) won  by a second round TKO over a pro debuter Nongmai Sithsoontorn. The fight was scheduled for six rounds. Buamas has over 25 fights on her record...but fighting many new boxers on that record.

April 22, 2012 - Sportova hala MSO, Šturovo, Slowakei
Super featherweight Zsofia Bedo, of Hungary,  won by a fourth round TKO over Zsanett Lacko who remains undefeated at now a 0-7-0 record. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.  Although Lacko has lost all of her fights, this was the first fight in which she was stopped. 
 Also, Julia Kiss won a four-round bout by p   Final score by judge was 40-37.

April 20, 2012 - Centro Cosmopolita Unión y Progreso, Roldán, Santa Fe, Argentina
Junior welterweight Victoria Bustos, 137¾,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Roxana Beatriz Laborde, 138¾.

April 20, 2012 - Grand Star Receptions, Victoria, Australia
Diana Prazak
successfully defended her WIBA super featherweight belt against Fatuma Zarika, when she defeated Zarika by a 10-round unanimous decision.  In another bout, Sylvia Schiavoni and Natasha Bremer fought to a four-round draw in the super bantamweight division.

April 18, 2012 - Club Angus, Sahuayo de Morelos, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico
Flyweight Gabriela Velazquez, 111½,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Karia Valencia, 112.

April 14, 2012 - Ernesto Ruffo Appel Municipal Gymnasium, in Rosarito, Mexico
Kaliesha "Wild Wild" West, 118, of Moreno Valley, California,  defeated Claudia Andrea Lopez, 118, of Argentina,  by 10-round majority decision. Scores were 95-95, 98-92 and 98-92. West retained the WBO Bantamweight Title and earned her third successful title defense.

Super flyweight Eva Voraberger won a six rounds by points over Eva Henesova.

April 14, 2012 -  Lima, Peru
Flyweight Rocio Gaspar won a four-round unanimous decision against  Valeria Mejia.

Junior flyweight Maribela Smith, 107½, had a six-round majority draw with Yaditza Perez, 105¾.

Super bantamweight Linda Laura Lecca won a 10-rounder by points over Mayra Alejandra Gomez.

Simona Galassi
 won a ten round unanimous decision over Renata Szebeledi. The two were fighting for the IBF flyweight world title.

April 13, 2012 - Arandas, Mexico
Junior lightweight Jessica Gonzalez,127, won a six-round majority decision over Nayeli Jimenez Garcia, 127¾. 

April 13, 2012 - Club Ciclista Juninense, Junín, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Super featherweight Maria Angelica Ruiz, 130½, won a four-round majority decision over Lizbeth Crespo, 131¼.

April 13, 2012 - Cologne, Germany
Nadia Raoui
won a 10-round unanimous decision over  Eileen Olszewski. The two were fighting for the WIBA flyweight title.

April 13, 2012 - Poldeportivo Municipal, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Featherweight Alejandra Oliviera, 132, won by a fifth round KO over Simone Da Silva Duarte, 134¼.

April 13, 2012 - Lanxess-Arena, Cologne, Germany
Flyweight Nadia Raoui, of Germany, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Eileen Olszewski.    Raoui was defending her WIBA flyweight title. This was a rematch for the two, when in their first fight they fought to a draw.

April 11, 2012 - Hotel Veneto, Panama City, Panama
Super flyweight Juseth Arauz,117¾, TKO'd Cecilia Montezuma, 119, in the second round of a four round bout.

April 10, 2012, at Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan
Naoko Shibata
won an eight-round unanimous (79-73, 79-73, 78-74)
decision over Cho-Rong Son of South Korea. There were no knockdowns but Shibata completely dominated the bout and successfully defended her OPBF title. won a four round unanimous middleweight decision over Jamhuri Siad.

In a rematch Fernanda Soledad Alegre won a 10-round unanimous decision over Chris Namus for the junior welterweight WBO world title.  Final judges scores were  93-96, 92-97, and 94-95.

Flyweight Arely Valente remained undefeated when she fought Yesenia Gomez by a four-round unanimous decision.

TKO'd Karine Rinaldo in the fifth round of a scheduled eight for the French Women's Super Bantamweight Title.

There were two female non-title bouts on the card. In one bout scheduled for eight rounds, 33-year old Naoko Yamaguchi, 115¾, of Tokyo, Japan, won by a fourth round TKO over Kandy "La Rubia" Sandoval, 115¼  from Mexico City, Mexico.  The two were scheduled to fight at 116 lbs.,  catch weight. Sandoval was knocked down once in round three. In the second female bout, Noriko Tsunoda,112½, 41 years old, from Tokyo, won by a second round TKO over her opponent from Thailand, Petchsairung Looksaikongdin, 111. The two were scheduled to fight at 114 lbs., catch weight in a four round bout.
