December 27, 2008 - Red Robinson Show Theatre, Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada
On the card, "Rumble in the Red", on the undercard, super bantamweight Rochelle Okoye, 122, making her pro debut,  of New Westminister, B.C, won a four-round unanimous decision over Priscilla Trompowsky, 120.5, Toronto, Canada.  Final judges scores, 39-37, 39-37, 39-35.  Okoye has an interesting background. She is a former amateur gymnast that was on the edge of trying out for the Olympics, but was not old enough due to a rule change, and she also is an aspiring model and personal trainer. 

December 26, 2008 - Jean Pierre Sports Complex, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad And Tobago
Light middleweight Giselle Salandy won a 10-round unanimous decision over Yahaira Hernandez. WIBA-WBC-WBA title bout. Just EIGHT days later from this fight Salandy was KILLED in a CAR Accident! [Logged into master search]

retained her WIBA flyweight title when she had a controversial draw with Nadia Raoui.

Super Bantamweight Zarika Njeri won a controversial 10-round unanimous decision over Belinda Laracuente. The two were fighting for the WIBF super bantamweight title. Final judges scores were 97-96, 97-95, and 97-94.

December 19, 2008 - Palasport di Via Austria, Grosseto, Toscana, Italy
Bantamweight Emanuela Pantani, 117, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Betina Gariela Garino, 117.  Pantani won the vacant WBA Bantamweight title. Final judges scores were 99-94, 98-93, and 98-92.[Logged into master search]

Super bantamweight Ivonne Cordoba won a four-round bout by unanimous decision Marisa Portillo. [Logged into master search]

December 17, 2008 -  Olympic Arena, in Sarajevo, Bosnia Irma Balijagic, 125½, of Bosnia, won by a  CONTROVERSIAL 10-round split decision over Jeannine Garside, 125¾, of Canada. The two were fighting for the WIBA Featherweight title. Final Judges scores were 96-97, 98-92, and 95-96. In another women's bout junior middleweight Marija Petrovic won a six-round unanimous decision over Jaqueline Fuchs. Also flyweight Fleis Diendji TKO’d Fadia Idrissi in the second round in a four round bout.

December 17, 2008 -
EHotel Hilton, Prague, Czech Republic
Featherweight Marina Krasheninnikova, 125½, of Prague, Czech Republic,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Marina Kohlgruber, 120¾, of Cologne, Germany. 

December 13, 2008 - ABA Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand
Welterweight Lisa Mauala, 146¼, won a six-round unanimous decision over Daniella Smith, 145. [Logged into master search]

December 13, 2008 - Cosmic Gym, in Marabella, Trinidad and Tobago
Iva Weston
, 178, won a six-round unanimous decision over Margaret “Chico” Walcott [aka: Francis], of Guyana.
According to our correspondent, Walcott seemed glove shy and unprepared while Weston showed no ring rust and was dominant throughout the six rounds. Walcot made Weston's work quite easy as she Walcott very rarely made contact and even while attacking seemed to be flinching. Final scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 60-55 Weston. The two were fighting for the WBC Atomweight title. In the other women’s bout, Naomi Togashi, 108, stopped Nanko Kikuchi 0:21 seconds of the 10th round.
