(AUG 21) Last night at the Beijing Capital Gym, Beijing, The People's Republic of China, Super Featherweight Antonio Davis, 129, won a 12-round unanimous decision over Frankie Zepeda, 130, for the vacant IBA Super Featherweight title. Final judges scores were 119-109, 120-108, and 120-117.

In a women's match,  Mia “The Knockout” St. John, 133, of Los Angeles, California, now 42-5-2 (17KO),  won a 10-round unanimous decision over South Carolina’s Donna Biggers, 133, now 14-2-1 (13KO),  in a 10-round bout for the IBA continental lightweight title.

Also, Mariem Punchenella Brakache, 148, from Holland, and a native Moroccan, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Cristy “Code Red” Nickel, 150. The bout was for the IBA junior middleweight world championship.  Final judges scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92.

Mariem told WBAN that she is ready to call out Christy Martin for the next championship fight.  Mariem said, “I think I heard that you (Christy Martin) could fight Lucia Rijker from Holland, I am the other girl from Holland marinated in Morocco and I am ready to put the heat on you Christy Martin.”

In a men's featured four-rounder, Butterbean lost to Kenny Craven by a unanimous decision.

The event was promoted by Prize Fight Promotions.
