Connie Alcala, Forth Worth, Texas, an amateur boxer from Texas,  began boxing at the age of 12, and has been boxing for the three years.  Alcala has already accumulated an amateur boxing record of 13-1. Alcala attended middle school and was a cheerleader in 2002. 

In 2002, Alcala told WBAN that she would like to work toward going to Medical School and becoming a doctor.
