Connie Alcala, Forth Worth, Texas, an amateur boxer from Texas,  began boxing at the age of 12, and has been boxing for the three years.  Alcala has already accumulated an amateur boxing record of 13-1. [WBAN was contacted in 2002 on Alcala, and we have no further updates than this past information about her amateur boxing career as of April 2002].

Alcala attended middle school and was a cheerleader in 2002. 

In 2002, Alcala told WBAN that she would like to work toward going to Medical School and becoming a doctor. 

Some of the highlights of Alcala's boxing career include the following: 2000 State Silver Glove Champion; 2000 Regional Silver Glove Champion; 2000 Southern United States Silver Glove Champion; 2000 Fort Worth Golden Gloves Champion; 2001 State Silver Glove Champion; 2001 Fort Worth Golden Gloves Champion 2000 Southern United States Silver Glove Champion; 2001 Regional Silver Glove Champion; 2002 Regional Silver Glove Champion; and 2002 Fort Worth Go
