(OCT 30) On Thursday night at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, in Highland, California, the casino presented "Live Championship Boxing". The card was promoted by Patrick Ortiz. (OCT 23) Eileen Olszewski gained an unanimous six round decision over Suzannah Warner at the Capitale Club in lower Manhattan, on Friday night, in the featured bout on Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing six bout card. The decision was met with surprise and derision from some in the raucous crowd packed into the high ceilinged, pillared venue which, in days gone by, housed a branch of the Bowery Savings Bank and now has a "night job" as a popular nightclub.

When Albuquerque’s Victoria “La Reyna De Guerra” Cisneros steps into the ring on Dec. 3, in New Mexico,  in an eight-rounder against Chevelle Hallback, she’s hoping a win will earn her a second chance at Holly Holm in March, 2011. “If this is what it takes to get a rematch with Holly, I am all for it,” says Cisneros. “I have fought the best in the world, including Holly – one more time is all I ask for. Why not? New Mexico has had Johnny Tapia vs Danny Romero, Johnny Tapia vs Frankie Archuleta, twice, with a possible third, so why not two New Mexico females?”

(OCT 18) Eileen Olszewski's last bout was nearly two years ago (December 2008), a ten round draw with Nadia Rauoi, who, recently, lost a very close and disputed decision to Susi Kentikian. OCT 6) (SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS) – National PAL Championships competition moved into day two on Tuesday with two full sessions of men’s open division competition.  Preliminary round competition was contested in the bantamweight and lightweight divisions in the opening session of the day with 30 boxers moving one win closer to an Olympic Trials berth. (OCT 4) Jackie Trivilino, 126, Plattsburgh got the best of Jennifer Scott, 123, Houston in an entertaining six round bout at the Turning Stone Casino Resort.
