Response by St. John

Mia's First Statement
Team Mrd. response

I'm sure you were grateful by the end of the fight that you allowed the 10oz. gloves! Anyway, I have fought my whole career in 8 oz Reyes that did a lot of damage to my hands. Later in my career I started demanding in ALL my fights 10 oz. gloves. It did not matter who I fought, I even demanded it with girls I knew I would stop with ease (just ask Shelby
Walker). And after fighting 52 fights I can assure if you can't knock someone

by Mia St. John
June 25, 2006

(JUNE 25) I would like to set the record straight on a few issues. First, I want to express my disappointment in the Edmonton Sun for printing post fight quotes from me when I did not even interview with them after the fight. And although I am quite use to the critics by now, their one sided view of the fight was terribly disappointing as well. I was never hurt once during the fight which is probably why I left the ring as I
entered, with...More
