(JUN 24) Tonight at the Isleta Casino, in New Mexico, in the main event, Holly Holm, 140, (9-1-2, 3KO), stopped last-minute opponent, Lisa Lewis, 136, in the ninth round. Holm successfully defended her IBA Jr. Welterweight title. There was a second women's match on the card, but WBAN does not have the results as of yet.

(JUN 21) Dee Williams has added three new biographies to WBAN, that include Kathy "Wild Cat" Collins ; Michele Aboro; and Andrea DeShong.  Dee has also updated the existing bios of many of the boxers who have just had fights. (JUN 21) On June 24, 2005, at the Isleta Casino, in New Mexico, in the main event, Holly Holm, (9-1-2, 3KO), WBAN #10 ranked jr. welterweight, will be fighting last-minute opponent, Giselle Salandy (8-0-0, 4KO) WBAN #13 ranked jr. welterweight. Holm will be defending her IBA Jr. Welterweight title.   Salandy is replacing Layla McCarter who broke her arm fighting Jelena Mrdjenovich last week.

(JUN 15) Today the weigh-in was held for tomorrow nights boxing event, that will be held at the  Sevens Feathers Hotel and Casino Resort, in Canyonville, Oregon. Kelsey Jeffries, weighed 123, and her opponent, Lakeysha "Total Package" Williams,122.

(JUN 13) On Saturday, June 11th, on a Showtime Pay-Per-View card, in front of 15,472 had Laila "She Bee Stingin" Ali , 167, now 21-0-0 (18KO) stopped Erin " Irish" Toughill, 168, now 6-2-1 (0KO), of Huntington Beach, California 1:59 seconds of the third round by TKO. Ali has and continues to only get better in every fight she takes---and could very well be one of the best pound for pound female boxers in the sport today.

(JUN 12) Last night at the Madison Square Garden, in New York, Agnieszka Rylik,139, of Poland,  now 17-1-0 (11KO), won a six-round unanimous decision over Tawnyah Freeman, 136,  of Fort Smith Arkansas. Final judges scores were 60-54, 60-54, and 59-55.

(JUN 11) Last night in Detroit, Michigan, Kara Ro, now 13-0-0 (7KO), won the 135-lb WIBA Lightweight World title when she defeated Belinda Laracuente, 21-9-2 (9KO), of Miami, Florida.  This will be Laracuente's fourth consecutive after losing to Sumya Anani, Mary Jo Sanders, and Jessica Rakoczy for IBA belts.

(JUN 10) Chic Sports Radio, the only radio show in the world that covers women's sports has announced that founder and Veteran sports and entertainment promoter Arnie Tokyo Rosenthal will be a featured guest on this week's show. On Sunday, June 5th, 2005 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Huf Executive Fitness held an exciting amateur boxing show that featured 11 matches. These matches ranged from Cadet A’s through to the Senior division. The gym was full and the crowd anticipated an awesome show and they were not disappointed.
