(JAN 31) WBAN would like to congratulate  Catherine Phiri, 11-1-0 (5KO), of Lusaka, Zambia, who has been named our WBAN February 2016 Fighter of the Month.  She had a fantastic win last night, fighting out of venue in Rosarito, Mexico, where she defeated Yazmin Rivas by TD in 7th round.

Update - Cancelled Bout Tonight:   Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Kalderas

(JAN 16)  Just in:  the fight between Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Kalderas has been canceled for tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.   Serrano's original opponent Helen Joseph fell off the card and now Erika Kalderas and Serrano are off card.  Serrano is rescheduled to fight on February 17th for the title.
