(JAN 22) On Tuesday, January 24th,  Mia St. John will be on ESPN2's "ESPN/HOLLYWOOD" airing at 6:00 p.m. Mia will be interviewing comedian and actor, DL Hughley about his role in the movie "Shackles". Hughley does some boxing in the movie.  He will talk about how he got in shape.

"Christy and I both received our contracts awhile back for the fight, however neither one of us signed the contracts. Sjauw to rematch with Hartmann January 16, 2006

(JAN 16) On March 4, 2006, in Germany, Marischa Sjauw will be having a rematch against Heidi Hartmann of Germany, in a 10-round title bout.  Hartmann will be defending her title.  According to Team Sjauw, the WIBF made Marischa mandatory because of the very controversial ending of the first fight.

(JAN 8) On Friday, January 6th, at the Santa Ana Star Casino, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and promoted by Top Rank, Super Bantamweight Tonia Cravens, 116¼, now 1-1-1, had a six round draw with Yvonne Chavez,  121¾, now 3-4-1 (2KO).  Judges scores were 56-58, 59-55, and 57-57. Both Cravens and Chavez are local boxers who fight out of Albuquerque.
