(MAR 29) In a recent press release that WBAN received, it was in regards to a recent world title bout that took place on March 18th, at the Gimnasio Futbol Club, Vera, Santa Fe, Argentina.  In that bout, Kim Connor, 131, of Little Rock, Arkansas, fought Victoria Bustos, who is from of Santa Fe, losing a unanimous decision with final scoring was 96-94, 97-93, and 99-91.

Connor said in this release that the people of the town of Vera, Argentina treated her and her team great----but the judges of the fight were not fair to her in their decision.

According to this press release, Connor said that she  was the aggressor and made the fight by pressuring Bustos who ran the entire fight. For boxing fans you can view the video on Youtube.

Connor is now  12-3-2 (5KO) with one draw being to former World Champion Tiffany Junot.  Bustos improved her record to  17-4-0 (0KO)

In the press release they stated the following:  "Connor showed great courage and determination in making an exciting match that would have been great for female boxing had it been televised on HBO or SHOWTIME."
