Amateur Boxing Show is Saturday January 21, 2017: If
You Want To Box in our Next Amateur Boxing Show on Saturday
January 21st, contact New York's number one matchmaker, Jieun
Lee. The show is open to any currently licensed
amateur boxer. We are looking for Juniors, Seniors and Master
boxers.
Gleason's Adult Classes
Age: 18+ -Days and times: Monday through
Thursday 5 to 5:50 pm, 6 to 6:50 pm and 7 to 7:50 pm. Friday 5
to 5:50 pm and 7 to 7:50 pm; Saturday and Sunday 12 to
12:50 pm and 2 to 2:50 pm;
Cost: $30 per session (includes gym fee and lesson)
About the trainer: Keisher "Fire" McLeod -Fire is a
Professional World Champion boxer, a four time NY Golden Glove
Champion and a two time World Amateur Champion.
Ninth Annual Masters Clinic and Show
Gleason's Gym will host it's Ninth annual Masters Clinic and
boxing show February 16-18, 2017. All participants will be
invited to compete on the Gleason's Team against an English team
in London on March 31, 2017. You will be taking a vacation
to London. You must make your own arrangements including
airfare, hotel and food.
The cost of the Clinic is $349.00. If you are interested

AIBA Confirm 3 x 3 minute rounds
re-introduced for women in 2017

(DEC 29) The International Boxing
Association (AIBA) has published details of its revised rules
following the recent Executive Conference in Switzerland and
among the changes now confirmed, women’s bouts will consist of 3
x 3 minute rounds as with their male counterparts. New rule now
