(NOV 19)  The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation will host its 20th Annual Turkey Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 19. ( The families receiving the turkey dinner donations have been pre-selected. Turkey dinners will not be given away on-site to community members without a voucher.) De La Hoya will be joined by champions and rising star fighters including Vyacheslav Shabranskyy, Diego De la Hoya, Jason Quigley, Carlos Morales, Joet Gonzalez, Ronny Rios and Ryan Garcia as they help distribute hundreds of turkeys and other traditional Thanksgiving foods to his hometown in the East Los Angeles community*.

Turkey Giveaway: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT
Interviews: Oscar De La Hoya and the fighters will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or after 1:00 p.m.

In 1995, Chairman and CEO Oscar De La Hoya started his honorable Oscar De La Hoya Foundation to help improve the quality of life for the community in his hometown of East Los Angeles. Today, with the help many partners, the foundation serves thousands of people annually. The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation supports the Oscar De La Hoya Ánimo Charter High School, the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center and the Oscar De La Hoya Labor and Delivery Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (both located at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles) in addition to various after school programs that promotes positive lives, and protect youth from the circumstances of gang violence, juvenile delinquency and substance abuse.
