Ana Lozano Talks about her fight with Duer
Source/PR
July 20, 2014

(JULY 20)  On Friday night, at the Club Atletico Lanus,  Buenos Aires, Argentina, 28-year old Ana Maria Lozano, 118, now 8-2-0 (6KO), of Caracas, Venezuela, traveled to Argentina to fight
35 year old Carolina Raquel Duer, 17-3-1 (5KO), of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Duer won a 10-round unanimous decision over Lozano. The two were fighting for the WBO Bantamweight title.

After the fight WBAN received a post fight open letter from Lozano:

She said the following:  "Hello dear friends, above all a greeting for everyone, proud to have represented and defended the colors of our flag and have made it up to my Venezuelan people in this new world title opportunity.  This to me is not a defeat,  to win quite contrary, is that I will be world champion at any time, because this is my dream and to make it."

"I thank the Almighty (God) and my coach and representative Orangel "Memin" Ramos for believing in me, they do not disappoint, but neither are happy for not having brought the world title for Venezuela. I hope to bring the World Belt in my next title fight".
