Another Great Fight on the Books for Female Boxing!
by Sue TL Fox

(MAR 7) WBAN has been notified that contracts are signed between Jolene Blackshear of San Diego, California and Kenia Enriquez for being featured on an upcoming card "San Diego Fights" that will take place on April 4, 2014, at the 4 Points Sheraton, in San Diego, California.  We have been told that this is an eight-round bout and will be the mainliner. For tickets, go here: Tickets

There is also a tentative second female bout that will be on the undercard, and as WBAN receives more info on that fight we will update the boxing community.

This is potentially a "Hot Matchup" in terms of what WBAN has seen with these two.

Enriquez, a fighter from Tijuana, Mexico, is still undefeated, and she is a very exciting fighter to watch in the ring.  WBAN had the opportunity to see her in action just a couple of weeks ago when she fought a six-rounder in the co-main event against Noemi Bosques of Florida.

When Enriquez takes on Blackshear, she will be taking on a very tough veteran in the sport---and Blackshear is a toe-to-toe fighter.  The card is promoted by Bobby D Presents.

WBAN will be returning to San Diego to cover this exciting card.
