Two Female Bouts in Japan

(JULY 23) Last night at Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan, 35-year old Naomi Yamaguchi, of Tokyo,  faced 31-year old Chuthaporn Pradissan, of Bangkok, Thailand, in an super flyweight eight rounder non-title bout.  Yamaguchi was originally tentatively fighting Daniela Bermudez,  but according to our sources,  the contracts for a unification title failed in the negotiations.  In Yamaguchi's fight with Pradissan, Yamaguchi won by a first round [1:56] KO over Pradissan.


Semi-Main Event
Kayoko Ebata vs. Cho-Rong Son
Eight Rounds - Vacant OPBF Flyweight Title

In the semi-final of this event, 37-year old Kayoko Ebata, of Tokyo,  won over 26-year old Cho-Rong Son, of Seongnam City, South Korea, by a unanimous decision, and Ebata won the belt that was vacant, and became the new OPBF flyweight champion. Final judges scores were 79-73, 78-73, and 78-73.
