Open Letter to Cecelia Braekhus from Chevelle Hallback

I'm not a typically one to go through social media call outs, but since it appears that Facebook comments that were made have apparently been erased and all my efforts to fight you again have been ignored, -I'm going public.

The bottom line is this:   I want you to know from me that I WANT A REMATCH.

Your promoter has said that there is no one there willing to fight you after you beat Mia and now you're facing Oxandria Castillo, who's 12-0 at 154, instead of facing me again.

How many weight classes are you going to go up in order to still avoid me?

I have been asking for a rematch for two years now and your promoter and manager have said no!

So I am asking you. The judges gave you the first fight. You ALL saw the fight- your manager, your promoter, and YOUR FANS saw the fight. I gave you a royal beating. The way your face looked after the fight told the real story!

I am not trying to be disrespectful to you but after my manager going through all the right ways to get a rematch, and your team keeps saying no, I am asking you. I am not doing anything different from what you did when you approached Holly Holm about fighting you. You fought Borislava Goranova twice and out of 21 of her fights she only won 3 fights, then you fought her again!

So do you only give rematches to boxers with a losing record? If YOU tell me that you just don't want to fight me again, then I will respect that and leave it alone. But if not, every time you or your promoter say you have a fight coming up, I will address this.

I will go to Facebook, Twitter, your local papers, and anything or anyone else I can think of to tell or let your fans know that you are afraid of facing me again. This isn't a post you can erase. See it, and read it.

Give me the rematch, or instead of ignoring me, have respect in return and say no to a rematch.
