Mary McGee Trains with Stephanie Jaramillo in readying to fight Holm tonight!
by Sue TL Fox
May 11, 2013

(MAY 11) Tonight at the Route 66 Casino Hotel, in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the mainliner, Mary McGee will be fighting the home town queen Holly Holm,  in a 10-rounder, for the IBA and WBF junior welterweight world title.  Holm is defending these two belts--and calling it quits in the boxing world to enter into a new arena in MMA.

Retired boxer Stephanie Jaramillo who has also fought Holm in the ring, worked with McGee while she was in New Mexico, in preparation for her fight tonight with McGee.  Who better else would be a great training partner than someone who has fought Holm in the past.

Stephanie said, "I wanted to take the time and thank Mary McGee, her manager Lori Steinhorst and her coach Carlos and Sparring partners, for asking me to work with Mary. It has been an honor getting to know you champ.  Your a hard worker, a kind person and going to do great things in the future. There's not a lot of money in women's boxing. And with the training camp that Mary has done pretty much all goes on training and she still is donating a portion of her check to female boxers in Africa that are less fortunate. Mary you really are a amazing person!"
