(JUNE 21) Yesterday, IBF Bantamweight World champion, Yazmin "Rusita" Rivas, has finished her training with two different sparring partners, boxing six rounds with each of them.  She also finished the training with some shadow boxing, etc., in anticipation of her fight on Saturday, June 23rd, at the "Gym Hidalgo" of Puebla, Mexico.

Rivas will be defending her IBF bantamweight title against Nydia Feliciano, of Bronx, New york, USA in a ten-round bout.  The two will be part of boxing on the "Clash of Nations" card.

Rivas, 27-7-1 (9KO), has thus far fought some of the best in the sport that includes Jackie Nava, from Mexico, Kwang Ok Kim, from North Korea, Marcela Acuña, from Argentina, Susie Ramadan, from Australia and Soledad Matthysse, from Argentina.

"I'm at my best at this time, as a woman and as a fighter, I want to get in to the ring against the best fighters to continue proving that this is my time", said Rivas.

Meanwhile, the North American but of Puerto Rican roots, is ready to return to the USA with the title.

This will be the first time that Feliciano, 23,  fights out of the USA. It is also the first time that she will fight as a bantamweight whereas most of bouts were at super bantam, or featherweight.
