Nice Addition to the Las Vegas Card with Three Women's bouts!October 29, 2011

(OCT 29) WBAN received an updated press release that announced world champion Sergio Martinez, who will be a special guest of honor at the boxing event on November 20th.  WBAN will be at this event covering the behind the scenes and more!

The release stated the following:

Sampson Boxing LLC in association with Station Casinos make their Nevada promotional debut on Sunday November 20, 2011 at the TEXAS Station Gambling Hall and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sampson Boxing will present a LIVE BOXING event and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission and Shelter of Hope.

The Main Event is scheduled for 10 rounds, for the IBF Female, Super Bantamweight title. Miami, Florida's (via Puerto Rico) IBF Champion, Ada Velez (19-3-3, 6 KO’s) vs. the pride of Las Vegas, Melinda “La Maravilla” Cooper (21-1, 11 KO's). This is a rematch of their 3-31-2011 fight where Velez won the vacant tile in a very close split decision and in doing so handed Cooper the first loss of her career.

The co-main event will also be a 10 round IBF Female, Featherweight title bout. The champion from Miami, FL., Stacey “Stay Lo” Rielle (10-3, 4 KO's) vs. the Dominican Republic's (Santo Domingo) Dahiana Santana (27-6, 12 KO's). This fight will also be a rematch of their 3-31-2011 fight where Reille claimed the vacant title with a very close split decision win.

An 8 round Heavyweight division extravaganza, featuring the son of Russia, “Mago” Magomed Abdusalamov (10-0, 10 KO's) vs. Rich “Super” Power (15-1, 11 KO's).

In the Welterweight division, in a 6 round bout; from Santa Marta, Panama, Azael “Turbo” Cosio (11-1-2, 8 KO's).

In the Super Middleweight division, in a 6 round bout; from Bogota Colombia, Alexander Brand (14-0, 13 KO's).

In addition, local favorite, TaTina "Lil Tyson" Anderson will be in a 4/6 rounder against the infamous TBA and Irma Garcia Nunez, the winner of the WBC reality show “Reto de Campeones” will be meeting that same TBA.

A guest of honor appearance by WBC Diamond, Middleweight title holder, Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez will be present for two hours before the fights for fan pictures, signing autographs and in support of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission and Shelter.

Tickets will be available at texasstation.com, Station Casino Box Offices, every Mariana's Supermarkets and Moda Latina stores as of October 24, 2011. TEXAS Station Gambling Hall and Hotel: 2101 Texas Star Ln., North Las Vegas. Doors open at 2:30 pm and the fights will start at 3:00 pm. Ticket prices are: $25.00 for General Admission and $75.00 for Ringside. The event will be televised LIVE by: MAPI T.V., Supercanal, Dominican View, Tele-El Salvador, TDS, Comcast, Cable-vision, RCN, Time Warner, Verizon and Fios. Viewing countries: The United States (Dallas, Tampa, Baltimore, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, Ft.
