(AUG 15) During various months I
have noticed that I am not alone in my pointing out WBC’s
reigning president’s many errors, violation of fighters’ RIGHTS,
manipulations in title bouts, pressuring of fighters to take
risks while others he let’s get away with an “ABSOLUTE BYE;”
some he sends to elimination bouts or others he allows to
compete for a title without questioning the fighters’
entitlement to a title. Insomuch as a promoter is concerned, he
pressures them and even follows through with his threats of
disowning and/or not recognizing that promoter’s fighters.
However, there’s a popular saying “The Valiant Lives While A
Coward allows him to,” a ‘saying’ that has been around a
lifetime. The oppressed rose up in arms and have battled for
democracy, dictatorships do not last a lifetime, and it has been
seen in many countries.
In most recent memory was the dethroning of Sadaam Hussein for
whom a statue was erected and when the Nightmare was over the
whole world saw with delight how the people of Iraq breathe
better and how they began a NEW Democracy; through sweat, blood
and tears.
Today, Sadaam is forgotten and the world and Iraq rests from
that era of dictatorship; that is why when a strong union is
formed dictatorships can fall.
I tell you this; I continue to receive emails of persons who are
part of the WBC who describe that they only follow instructions
which are given to them. The emails I have in my possession, of
which I cannot divulge completely due to my informants’
confidentiality, for every 10 emails I receive, 10 DO NOT agree
with José Sulaimán’s reign of power in the WBC, this I am
convinced of; that even the executive branch of the WBC and its
affiliates are tired of its president and claim IMMEDIATE
CHANGE; I even have names of possible substitutes.
His own know him for his achievements but also demands that his
current decisions stop affecting the credibility of an
organization that is considered to be the best in the world; a
fact that has come to only be recognized on paper, as it isn’t
sensible that it be considered to be. Look at the many Champions
it can boast about; who deserve to be there and who does not;
whom he gives ALL to and those he gives NO JUSTICE to.
I have spoken with persons who have had careers with the WBC,
people that have manifested their disgust and disapproval and
who believe José Sulaimán must fall. Many have already asked
that he retire and goes “out the front door.” While some are
mentioning it is a possibility (in the little English I can
capture) that it will be in Las Vegas where he doesn’t have the
minimum authority, the house of the enemy; where the
Dictatorship will Fall.
As I have said and continue to sustain, I am not the owner of
the truth but, there are already various arguments by credible
members of the WBC that they are not satisfied with the
Leadership of the president of the WBC and that they have sworn
to place a new mandate.
The Rooster is Texan, it’s all I can tell you; the name is well
recognized in Las Vegas and, how I would love to be there…
