Photos and Story

(AUG 4) The final press conference was held today at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico,  for Friday's "Northern Invasion" fight card featuring Holly Holm (24-1-3 7KOs) vs Jaime Clampitt (21-4-1 7KOs) for the IBA Jr. Welterweight world title.

HOLLY HOLM:

"I have prepared very well for this fight since I know Jaime is a very good fighter and will be bringing her 'A' game. "

"I hope that I can use the things that we have worked on in training on Friday."

"Jaime is a great fighter and right now I am scared and my blood is rushing but that is a good thing."

"I want to thank all the fans and especially my promoter Lenny Fresquez for making this fight. We will put on a great show."

JAIME CLAMPITT:

"I want to thank my promoter Jimmy Birchfield and Lenny Fresquez for putting this great fight together. I also want to thank Holly for accepting the fight. I did not come all the way out here from Rhode Island to lose."

"I know Holly and I will put on a great show for the fans and I expect to take the title back home to Canada and Rhode Island."
