Kuehne to fight Santana for Three Belts
May 13, 2010
Source/PR

(MAY 13) A week ago SES-manager Ulf Steinforth let the cat out of the bag: Ramona Kuehne (15-1-0, (4)) will be fighting for three titles on July 4, 2010.  The fight will be featured on the Braun Bull Fight Night at the LaGa Aschersleben.  Kuehne will be fighting Dahianna Santana, of the Dominican Republic, for the super featherweight WBO, WBF, and WIBF titles.

This will be a rematch for the two.  The first time they fought was on November 28, 2010.  Kuehne was defending her WIBF lightweight title, and she won by a unanimous decision.

iSantana, now the 25 years old, has had no losses since that fight.  Santana won the Interim GBU championship and in November 2009.

Kuehne said,  “I followed Dahianna’s career and I should say she grew up considerably after her points defeat from me. She probably was too young for a world championship at that time. Now I am expecting a completely new contender."

The world championship and the come back fight of Timo Hoffmann will be televised live from Aschersleben by Sport 1 (earlier named DSF) at 10 p.m.
