Larcinese to fight Trivilino
By Rick McLean
March 21, 2010

(MAR  21) On Friday March 26, at the Claude-Robillard Center in Montreal, Quebec, Ali Nester Charles UGC promotions is hosting a night of stellar boxing action which includes a very competitive female Featherweight match up between Montreal’s own Lucia Larcinese (4-5) and New York State native Jackie Trivilino (2-1-1, 1 KO).

Larcinese is excited for the opportunity to fight in front of her hometown fans again however for only the second time in ten fights. Lucia’s only other fight at home took place last December at Casino Montreal, an event promoted by GYM (Groupe Yvon Michel), in which Larcinese cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

Larcinese has had to travel for most of her fights and has been able to score impressive victories over the hometown fighter but has also felt the sting of not having the advantage of hometown promotion behind her.

The main event on the card is scheduled for 10 rounds for the vacant Professional Boxing Council Super Middleweight championship between Ali Nestor Charles (8-5-2, 3 KO’s) and Martin Desjardins (7-15-4, 3 KO’s).
