Dierdorff:  "Give me
a call back with a real offer and we can
talk!"

By Brooke Dierdorff
May 28, 2009

(MAY 28) On May 24th, WBAN received a public challenge from Team Sarah Pucek, where they have made a tentative offer for Brooke Dierdorff to fight Pucek. [Public Challenge]

On May 24th, WBAN sent Dierdorff the challenge via email prior to posting the Pucek challenge.  Dierdorff responded, and told WBAN that they [Team Pucek} could call her manager. WBAN forwarded her email to Team Pucek.

According to Dierdorff, she was contacted yesterday [May 27] by the promoter in regards to this story.

Dierdorff responded with the following:

"First off,  I want to say that the only reason, I said I wanted to fight Sarah Pucek (which I had never even heard of before) was because she posted on WBAN that after she fought Tammie Johnson she wanted to fight me..."

"That is the only reason I said in my interview that I wanted to fight Pucek because of her statements.."

"Next I have no problem with fighting Sarah Pucek in her back yard. Everyone who knows me will tell you that.. I don't back down from any fight obviously. But, if your going to try to make a name off of my name to get heard of, at least have the money to pay me to come and fight you..Not some ridiculous offer you would pay a pro debuter like $1200.   I don't like to talk about money but when your going to sit there and call out another fighter that is the WBC International Champion to try to get recognition and make a name by fighting them don't offer them what you would pay a pro debuter to fight."

"I will not stoop down to $1200 to help you out to try to make a name for yourself.. So bottom line I would love to come and fight you Sarah Pucek in your back yard but not for $1200 I'm not. I'm a champion."

"So now the ball is in your court.  How bad do you want this fight? If you want to fight me that bad give up some of your money to make up the difference and its on.. I'm not scared of you, I don't even know your name.. So now its in your hands... Give me a call back with a real offer and we can talk!.  Brooke "No Mercy" Dierdorff"
