(APR 19) On June 25-27th the 2009
Ringside Augusta Summer Boxing Classic will take place in Augusta,
Georgia. Tom Moraetes said, "This is our seventh year and we
are looking forward to another outstanding tournament. It is our
plan to provide you with a great opportunity for competition."
The Clarion Suites Inn will be the host hotel, located at 3038
Washington Rd. Augusta GA 30907. (706-868-1800) Make your
reservations early! There is a special rate of $69.00 for up to 4 in
a room and this includes breakfast. The tournament will be hosted by
Tom Moraetes, of the Augusta Boxing Club, and Tom Beck Augusta
Recreation & Parks Department.

GIRLS (Ages 9 to 16 years) will not need to pre-register, they will
be matched bouts only, and winners will receive medals only.
Each athlete must be the correct age and weight for the division
entered. All athletes must be currently registered with USA Boxing
and must have a 2009 passbook.
