McGee Welcomes Figueroa For
Unfinished Business(MAY 5)
Merrillville, IN - Today Gary, Indiana's own NABC Light Welterweight
Champion "Merciless" Mary McGee (14-0, 8 KO's) Welcomed back
cross-town rival Rita "La Guera" Figueroa (10-0, 3 KO's) of Chicago
who returned to training last week. McGee and Figueroa both
undefeated have but one blemish on their records, which is a no
contest due to a serious cut sustained by Figueroa when they met in
the ring back in November of 2006. "Now that Rita is back in the gym
training its time to see whose record will stay perfect." McGee said
"This is a fight that Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland fans have
been waiting to see again and I am ready to settle our "Unfinished
Business" once and for all."
McGee has her next fight scheduled
for this summer and is looking to leave no question who should have
won the first time these two stepped in the ring, if Figueroa
accepts the challenge.
