(APR 29) On May 15, 2008, at the Hyatt
Hotel, in Irvine, California, junior featherweight Carly Batey,
3-3-2 (0KO), fighting out of San Diego, California, will be fighting
Sharon Gaines, 11-9-0 (3KO), of Missouri.
Both of these boxers are some of the tougher female boxers in the
sport. Gaines has taken on some very difficult opposition thus far
as a pro, that has included the likes of traveling to Denmark to
fight Frida Wallberg; Germany to fight Alesia Graf; and other
top boxers, Hollie Dunaway, Monica Lovato, and more.
Be on the lookout for Batey----her
record is deceptive, and she is indeed very talented, and is
definitely an up and comer! .
