Battle In The Ballroom Goes
For 18th Straight Sellout!

November 7, 2007

(NOV 7) The final pro boxing show of the year in Orange County will be a good one, and it will be an especially big night for one local boxer! Santa Ana's Luis Ramos, one of the most talented fighters to come out of the OC in years, will make his Orange County debut, as he meets Oklahoma's Terrance Harris at the world famous Battle In The Ballroom show at the Irvine Marriott on Thursday, November 29th.

Ramos won his pro debut a month ago in Ontario but now all his local fans just have a short drive to the Marriott to see him in action.

Also on the card will be top female super featherweight Kina Malpartida who is going for her third straight win in 2007. She is in line for a World Title Shot in 2008, but will have to first get past New York's 4-2 Ela Nunez.

PSo Cal amateur Charles Huerta will also be looking to stay undefeated after his big 1st round KO win at the Marriott in September.....Maywood's Lysette Medal will be back in action after a year's layoff, and Orange County heavyweight Jim Collins (how's 6-4, 250lbs), makes his pro debut against Moreno Valley's Tony Sanchez!
