2007 Women’s National Golden Gloves Tournament

(MAR 16) On July 10-14, 2007, the 2007 Women’s National Golden Gloves Tournament will take place at the Marriott Hollywood Beach Ballroom, in Hollywood, Florida. If you need to have more information on this event,

Brief details of event: Registration/Check-in Day will be at host hotel from 12pm to 8pm on July 10, 2007 Tuesday. All Boxers must weigh-in at that time. Any boxer more than 2 pounds over entry weight circled on the Entry Form will be given the option to move up to the next weight division or be disqualified from participating in the tournament. This option is only available on Registration Day there will be No exception.

At 9pm, July 10, 2007 - boxers draw, rules and regulation for the tournament at venue. Tournament rules will be followed after draw. 7am - weigh in and Physicals for only boxers who are competing on Wednesday and boxers each day after.

Level I, II, III Official Clinic will be held, check on site for day and time. Level I and II Coaches Clinic will be held, check on site for day and time.

No hand wraps will be allowed. Gauze and Tape only. No Red headgear in Blue corner or Blue headgear in Red corner will be allowed, if only boxing in those corners during that competition bout. USA Boxing rules will be enforced.

All coaches and athletes should be registered with USA Boxing before entering in Tournament. We will be seating the top three boxers in each weight division for this tournament. This means the three boxers who are rated with the highest point in there division will not have to box each other for their first bout, unless otherwise.
