(FEB 7) This week WBAN received a very disturbing email, with an attached photo that came with that email.  It was a female boxer who had received an embarrassing and in some opinions could be perceived as an obscene photo, from a male boxing manager who manages women boxers.  I am going to leave the names out of this story.  I have communicated with both parties by either emails or by phone in regards to this incident. 

What the absolute stupidity of it all is the fact that ANYONE would use a cell phone that has a camera feature and to use that phone in a way that not only could ruin a person’s reputation, the photo could be sent on to others, via email; it creates a permanent form of documentation that could be used to discredit a person; or ultimately they could find themselves in a court of law for harassment, stalking, etc. 

So when you have that nifty phone in your hands, and you just feel this overwhelming desire to get back at someone, or for whatever reason, and decide to take some ridiculous photo of yourself, with some "off the wall" or sexual comment attached to it----just remember that the receiver of that transmission,  can share it with the world. 

I found this incident absolutely stupid, and disgusting.
