WBC Women’s Middleweight Champion Yvonne Reis and Leaticia Robinson have signed contracts with Jabjab Promotions [Kenya] to face off in a WIBF world title fight at 160 lbs. The two have fought before with the latter emerging victorious. To Yvonne, this is the perfect match-up she has been waiting for. Dubbed FISTS OF STEEL, the event will feature 5 American boxers against some of Africa’s best women pugilists. 

Historical All Women’s Card; Africa Vs USA set for Nairobi

Jabjab Promotions has secured the signatures of seven American boxers to take part in a historical women only card to be staged in Nairobi on 2nd December 2006. Five of the Americans will be on the Fists Of Steel undercard for the WIBF Middleweight bout between Leaticia Robinson and Yvonne Reis. Female boxers Shadina Pennybaker, Terri Blair, Keli Cofer, Janaya Davis and Michelle Linden will face opponents from 4 different African Countries. Conjestina Achieng [Kenya], Esther Phiri [Zambia], Monalisa Sibanda [Zimbabwe] and Fiona Tugume [Uganda] will face off against the Americans in what is expected to be the biggest All Women Card this year. Jabjab Promotions plans to broadcast proceedings of the event on wenppv.com. Weppv will broadcast to hand held devices on a Pay-per-view basis.
