Upcoming Boxing Event August 25th

On Friday, August 25, 2006 at the beautiful Meadow Brook Music Festival, you can witness the debut of Professional Boxing at this exciting amphi-theatre.

Meadow Brook Music Festival, located on the impeccably well groomed grounds of Oakland University in Rochester Hills will be home to Donofrio Boxing's next great show of professional boxing.

In the main event of the evening Donofrio Boxing will present the return of Clarence "Bones" Adams from Las Vegas, Nevada, who made a habit of visiting Detroit on his way to his impressive professional record of 41 wins with only 6 loses. 19 of those wins by way of knock outs. The incredible talent, speed, and character of "Bones" will show the audience why he has 41 wins in his illustrious career.

As the co-main event Donofrio Boxing will feature none other that Ronald "Motor City Cobra" Hearns, son of  Detroit's own Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns. The Motor City Cobra, Hearns comes to Meadow Brook with an outstanding record of 9 wins, no loses and 7 of those wins by way of knock outs. In the boxing world we call Ronald "The continuing legend of the Hearn's name". Just as outstanding as his father was, and still is today, Ronald "The Motor City Cobra" Hearns is destined to be the next champion of the world as his surname still implies the winning Hearns' name.

Also on the card, Donofrio Boxing will feature the Bey Brothers of Cleveland, Ohio. Both Mickey and Cortez Bey
the former Olympic Boxing Team greats, will again challenge their undefeated records. The Bey's have not fought
since their last appearance December 17, 2005 on an explosive card promoted by Donofrio Boxing at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

They have been training in Las Vegas for the last several months at the Roy Jones camp and are ready for their return to the ring.

This evening of great fights continue with Detroit's own Lanardo "The Pain Server" Tyner. "The Pain Server" retains the bragging rights of an unbeaten record against some of the most devastating fighters in the world. Tyner comes to Meadow Brook with an unspoiled record of 13 wins and no loses. 9 of those wins by knock outs (or should I say coma's)?As a first time performer Donofrio Boxing is pleased to announce the debut of Damian "Damo" Fuller, the former IBF Intercontinental Lightweight Title Champion, the Mid Western Lightweight Title Champion, the NABC Lightweight Title Champion, of the World. Damo recently of Duva Boxing in New York is pleased to be on the Donofrio show on August 25th.

Damian "Damo" Fuller boasts a record of 25 wins 12 of those by way of knock outs and only 4 loses.

The excitement of this Donofrio Boxing event is sure to be an evening of spectacular boxing and entertainment. Don't miss the opportunity of witnessing all of above fights on one card and one show.

Tickets are now on sale at all Ticket Master outlets, Ticket Master on line, The Palace Box office, Meadow Brook Box Office.

Ticket prices are $15, $25, $50, $75, or orchestra seating for $100.  Special Ring Side seating (on stage) is available by writing to Donofrio Boxing at www.donofrioboxing.com. Or by calling 800-312-0300.
