Christensen and Wallberg return to the ring
Translated by Torben L.
May 9, 2006

(MAY 9) Today WBAN received information that Anita Christensen and Frida Wallberg will both return to the ring on June 9th in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Anita Christensen had to call off her last scheduled title defense against Oxana Vasilyeva due to a hand injury. Subsequently, Anita's title became vacant. Vasilyeva won the title in March by a win over Oksana Romanova of Ukraine. Anita Christensen is aiming at a chance to win the title back,
and will use the upcoming fight to get rid of the ring rust.

Frida Wallberg has been forced to stay out of the ring by a muscle injury in her back, which occurred last fall. Her last fight took place on June 17th last year in Aarhus. She fought Zarika Fatuma of Kenya for the WIBF's Intercontinental Title in junior lightweight and won convincingly.  Wallberg is very eager to return to the ring and get her boxing career moving again. http://www.teampalle.dk/composite-1180.htm
