(APR 8) In Germany, Ina Menzer successfully defended her WIBF Featherweight championship against Maribel Santana, who didn't come out for the 4th round. Both fighters started the first round cautious, but Menzer started to put Santana under pressure in the last 30 seconds of the round. Menzer showed she was in control right from the bell in the second round, and from then on it was clear that it was only a question of time.

Santana had no answer to Menzer's skill and punching power, and at the end of the third round she was caught in the corner and peppered with a barrage of hard blows. Santana had obviously had enough and decided not to come out for the fourth round, complaining about a severe headache. The result was announced as a TKO in round 4.

Julia Sahin was in another tough fight against Cathy Brown, and won a close points decision. The judges scored the bout  97:94, 96:94, 96:95.  The fight was fought in the junior flyweight division.

In a third bout, on the undercard, Carolina Alvarez of Venezuela TKO'ed Albena Atseva in a flyweight bout.
