Said Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions, ‘This is our
fourth show this year at Cicero Stadium and the crowds have
been terrific for each show. They’ve seen great fights and
this event has much more of the same. We’ve got a wide array
of fighters from local favorites like Jorge, Omar and
Emmanuel. Then we’ve got four fighters making their 8 Count
Productions’ debut including Rafal and Pawel from Poland
both of whom are very tough and highly skilled guys.” |
“Then we have two female boxers I’m very
happy to have on our show, Nora Reyes and Christina Christian.
They’re both undefeated and they’re both very good fighters. I think
our fans will take to them just like they have to Rita Figueroa.”
“Finally, we’re bringing back Michael Walker, he’s a very tough kid
who had a war with Jimmy Gonzalez last summer on our show at the
Aragon. Our fans still talk about that fight and what a brutal fight
it was. He recently knocked out Kendall Gould on our show at The
Grand Victoria Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana and is looking to keep
on moving up in the rankings.”
Continued Pesoli, “Our matchmaker Jerry Alfano continues to do a
great job making our fights. Our fans don’t want to see mismatches
and we have no interest in promoting them. He’s made the bouts
already for Jorge, Omar, and Emmanuel and they’re all in tough.
We’ll announce the rest as soon as they’re finalized.”
