WBAN to be Part of new Nationally syndicated Chic Sports Radio!

(MAY 11) WBAN will be featured Friday night as part of the new nationally syndicated Chic Sports Radio show devoted exclusively to women's sports.

WBAN senior editor Brian Ackley will be among the guests for the show available on the Sirrus Satellite Radio network and other broadcast outlets. World champion Sumya Anani has also been scheduled for an appearance in the not too distant future.

Other guests on this week's show will include Jane Blalock, a veteran golfer and founder of the Women's Senior Golf Tour, who was recognized during the LPGA’s 50th Anniversary in 2000 as one of the LPGA’s top 50 players and teachers. She'll clue Chic Sports Radio listeners about the upcoming events on schedule for the Women's Senior Golf Tour.

Also: Bob Schranz, manager of the WNBA Comets Media Relations. and an update from Joel Lamp letting us know what is going on in the world of women's golf. Antoinette Short of the SouthWest Michigan Jags calls in to tell us how her team is doing this season. Rounding out this week's show are National Women's Football Association's correspondents, Ahndi Coffey and Stephanie Godsey who will keep listeners up to date on the latest on the NWFA's 5th season's games.

CHIC SPORTS RADIO airs on the Sports Byline USA Network which is broadcast on Sirius channel #122 and the Armed Forces Network and many other affiliates around the country. The show airs on Friday nights at 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time. The show is also available on the internet at www.chicsportsradio.com
