San Jose, CA--- Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment (SVS&E) announced today that Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank will continue at HP Pavilion at San Jose on Thursday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. Featured on the card will be the WBC’s #1 ranked contender Diego Morales (34-2, 25 KO’s) of Tijuana, MX. Morales will face former NABA World Champion Alberto Ontiveros (21-10-5, 19 KO’s) in the evening’s 10-round main event.

In the semi-main event lightweight Arturo Quintero (13-2, 9 KO’s) of Las Vegas, NV will take on Pedro Mora (2-10) of Los Mochis, MX in a six round bout. Also appearing on the card is local light welterweight female fighter Eliza Olsen (8-4-3, 2 KO’s) who will fight Gloria Ramirez (9-13-5, 1 KO) of El Paso, TX in a six round bout, super welterweight Jose Garcia (0-1) who will fight Rene Auguaristi who will be making his professional debut in a four round bout and Light Heavyweight Joe Bradley (3-6, 1 KO) of Richmond, CA who will fight Guadalupe Acosta (2-1) of San Francisco, CA in a four round bout. Mexico’s championship family of boxing comes to Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank as the world’s top rated WBC Bantamweight contender Diego Morales (34-2, 25 KO’s), brother of WBC Champion Erik Morales, fights in a 10 round main event against the tough and rugged, Alberto Ontiveros (21-10-5, 19 KO’s) in a 10-round bout. Morales 34-2 is currently ranked by the WBC as the #1 contender in the world with hopes of a major world title shot by year’s end. Ontiveros is the former NABA Champion and has fought in 3 world title bouts.

Also making a special guest appearance at Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank will be Erik “El Terrible” Morales (48-2, 34 KO’s). Fresh off his victory over Manny Pacquiao to capture the vacant WBC International Super Featherweight World Championship and the vacant IBA Super Featherweight title in Las Vegas last month, Morales will be on hand to watch his brother make his first ever appearance at Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank.

Making her Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank debut is Eliza Olsen (8-4-3, 2 KO’s) of Redwood City. Rated #7 by the WBAN, Olsen is the granddaughter of “Bo Bo” Olsen, former middle weight champion of the world. Olsen will take on Gloria Ramirez (9-13-5, 1 KO) of El Paso, TX. Olsen and Ramirez fought previously in January of 2001 with Ramirez capturing a four-round unanimous decision. This re-match is scheduled for six rounds.

Additional bouts on the under card include Jose Garcia (0-1) taking on Rene Aguaristi who will be making his professional debut at the Tank. Former world-ranked kick boxer turned boxer, Guadalupe “El Dragon” Acosta 2-1 from San Francisco takes on Joe “Baby Tyson” Bradley (3-6) in a bout scheduled for six rounds.

In addition to the April 14 event, three more dates are scheduled for later in the year: July 21, September 15 and November 17. All cards are also scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Dates are subject to change.

SVS&E, the company that oversees all aspects of business operations for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, also oversees HP Pavilion Management, the San Jose Stealth of the National Lacrosse League.
